Last year we had a unique one-time opportunity to visit a mini farm on the first day of our Ohio vacation. That experience filled our nature tanks to overflowing, and the kids have referred to it reverently during the year since then.
We were lucky enough to be invited back to the farm this summer via my sister-in-law, and I think our status as visitors from the greatest distance has secured us an ongoing invitation every year. Yehaw!
Kitties, dogs, goats, chickens, pigs. Buckeye trees, pine trees, apple trees, grapevines. Paddle boat, trampoline, swings, see-saw, a hill for rolling down. A little cabin with a loft, a marble game, air pop gun and a chalkboard.
I think this farm is a little taste of what heaven will be like.
